WOODBRIDGE, NJ July 13, 2000 –Executive Jet, Inc. of Woodbridge, NJ, is taking another significant step to further enhance the comfort of all NetJets® owners and guests. The company has partnered with MedAire, Inc., Phoenix, AZ, to provide owners and guests with a wide range of travel and medical-related services. Through MedLink Worldwide, passengers and crew will be able to travel with peace of mind as the result of the special services that will be available to them before, during and after their flight onboard any NetJets aircraft. These services include: Access to MedAire’s MedLink 24-hour emergency medical hotline with board-certified, practicing ER physicians available to speak directly with NetJets crew to provide guidance anytime there is a medical issue, whether the problem surfaces in flight or on the ground. Management of medical needs on the ground. MedLink Worldwide provides a wide range of ground-based medical care services from medical referrals, to coordinating emergency medical transportation, to hospital admission and more. Important pre-travel advice on immunizations and any health risks associated with the areas that NetJets owners may be traveling to, along with strategies for minimizing those risks.

“The key to NetJets’ success and growth is fueled by our commitment to customer service,” said Richard T. Santulli, chairman and chief executive officer of Executive Jet. “MedLink Worldwide is another example of our overall customer commitment to providing our NetJets owners with the best service in the world. The safety, health and comfort of our owners and passengers are our primary concerns. Now with this extra level of care, the NetJets program is setting a global standard among the fractional ownership industry.”

“No one expects an illness to hit them while traveling, however, the fact is in 1999 alone, our emergency doctors logged nearly 5000 calls helping crews manage in-flight medical incidents,” said MedAire President and Chief Executive Joan Sullivan Garrett. “And now, NetJets customers and crew can travel anywhere in the world with the peace of mind and confidence knowing they can be getting the expert advice of an emergency physician faster than if they were sitting at home or in their office.” Executive Jet, a Berkshire Hathaway Inc. company, is the largest provider of fractional ownership offerings in the world through its NetJets programs.
