NetJets Signs Up for 50 Falcon 2000EXs and Adds Six More Falcon 2000s to the Current Program
WOODBRIDGE, NJ April 19, 2001 -- Executive Jet, Inc. signed an agreement for 50 Falcon 2000EXs (25 firm with options for 25 more) for their NetJets® fractional aircraft ownership programs in the United States and Europe. The value of the aircraft is in excess of $1.2 billion. “We look forward to offering the 2000EX,” said Richard Santulli, Chairman and CEO of Executive Jet, anticipating the mid-2004 delivery. “Our NetJets owners have responded very well to the Falcon 2000. The cabin size and baggage capacity is outstanding and the 2000EX will provide a transatlantic alternative for our NetJets owners, as well as the high quality support we know we can expect from Dassault.”

NetJets placed their first order for the Falcon 2000 in 1998, over 20 of which are already in operation. Responding to continued demand, they added another 6 Falcon 2000’s at the same time as placing their order for the 2000EX. These are scheduled for delivery in 2003.

Executive Jet, Inc. is now the single largest Falcon customer. To date over 99 Falcon Jets, plus an option for 25 more have been purchased to support NetJets programs in the U.S., Europe and the Middle East.

The new 3800 nm Falcon 2000EX was introduced at the National Business Aviation Association show in October 2000. “Our commitment to quality and performance is evident in the confidence our customers place in our jets,” said John Rosanvallon, president and CEO of Dassault Falcon Jet. “We’ve enjoyed a very positive relationship with NetJets, and are pleased to offer them aircraft with the flexibility and dependability they require for their program.”

The aircraft will be equipped with Dassault’s new EASy flight deck – a revolutionary concept in cockpit technology. EASy is an all-new graphical interface that will help pilots deal with high-density air space.

Executive Jet, a Berkshire Hathaway Inc. company, is the largest provider of fractional ownership offerings in the world through its NetJets programs that are tailored to an individual’s or company’s needs, offering aircraft ownership at a fraction of the cost.
