Geneva, 23 May 2007 - NetJets Europe, the leading private jet company, today announced it will double its pilot workforce to 1,500 in the next four years. The company currently employs 750 pilots which is an increase from 650 at the start of the year.
By the end of 2007 NetJets Europe will have hired over 225 new pilots this year to meet the flying needs of its owners and cardholders and to keep up with its investment in new aircraft. The current European fleet stands at 124 aircraft and will grow to 138 aircraft by the end of the year, up from 114 at the start of the year.
New crew members will benefit from NetJets Europe’s improved employment package which came into effect on 1 January 2007. The company increased the attractiveness of its terms to retain the high quality crew members that currently work for the company and to attract the best candidates in the industry to meet the needs of its growing customer base. The package provides a great work life balance. Pilots are competitively remunerated and they can choose to live in any of the 42 gateway cities around Europe. Additionally, pilots are provided with 193 days off per year to rest and spend quality time with family, friends and loved ones. The employment package enables NetJets Europe to attract and retain the best pilots in the industry to provide its customers with operational excellence and unrivalled levels of service.

The company also plans to similarly increase the number of flight attendants. NetJets Europe employs 75 flight attendants and expects to more than double this figure in the next four years.
