They know your personal preferences, usual destinations, even any food allergies you may have. More importantly, the Team ensures you’re able to go where you want, when you want and will help you with all your travel needs.

Our Chief Pilots know private aviation inside out. We have one Chief Pilot and assistant Chief Pilot for each aircraft type. They manage day-to-day flight operations and evaluate everything from weather and runway conditions to fuel requirements and FAA notifications. These senior professionals also serve as the liaison between NetJets pilots and operations, further ensuring all aspects of your travel experience run smoothly. Such practice is not an FAA requirement, but another example of NetJets elevated approach to safety and service.

Aircraft dispatchers

Aircraft dispatchers

NetJets’ team of FAA-licensed aircraft dispatchers is on duty 24 hours a day. Our dual-release system means no NetJets flight can takeoff unless both the pilot-in-command and the dispatcher agree it is safe to fly. In comparison, most general aviation providers do not even have any dispatchers on staff.

Staff meteorologists

NetJets staffs expert meteorologists around the clock. They are FAA-approved and use state-of-the-art equipment to monitor weather conditions in real time, with teams watching how weather patterns are evolving around the globe as far as 5 days out. This allows us to give our pilots and dispatchers up-to-the-minute weather reports prior to and during every NetJets flight so that we can maximize your safety and comfort. 


Operational analysts

Before any NetJets flight is cleared to land, our operational analysts research, inspect, and analyze airport conditions to ensure our rigorous safety requirements have been met.

IntelliJet® II: Another expert we couldn't do without

Empowering control in the air and on the ground

IntelliJet® II is a revolutionary flight tracking, reservation, and aircraft management system developed by NetJets. It allows us to coordinate and manage every aspect of every flight, all the while maintaining each Owner’s personal profile.

IntelliJet® II is always working. It calculates the sunrise and sunset restrictions for all airports. It can determine the runway lengths necessary for each aircraft type (taking into consideration factors such as time of day, weather conditions, and number of passengers). And it knows when it’s necessary to alter a flight plan for your safety and comfort.

Caring for our Owners

Unexpected things happen. When they do, you can count on NetJets to do everything within our power to help.

One of our Owners, for example, was recently on vacation with his family in the Bahamas. When his daughter needed urgent medical attention, he contacted us. It was 9:00 p.m.

We located the nearest plane and available pilots, contacted MedAire for a U.S. hospital recommendation, and arranged for late customs and ground transportation to the hospital.

At 12:20 a.m., the Owner and his family boarded a Citation X, the fastest jet in our fleet. A couple of hours later, his daughter was being treated at the Miami Children’s Hospital.

This is only one story. But it’s one of many examples in which NetJets came through for our Owners when they needed us most.
