Elevating standards for crew training
FAA’s approval for implementation sets NetJets ahead
We are proud to announce NetJets is the first private operator to be approved by the FAA for an Advanced Qualification Program (AQP) for pilots.
The fully customized training program will result in the highest possible standard of crew performance at NetJets, and therefore enhanced safety. The program is made possible because of the tight partnership we have with FlightSafety International®, a Berkshire Hathaway company.
“An uncompromising commitment to aviation safety is what truly sets NetJets apart.”
Alan Bobo, Chief Operating Officer
AQP differs from the off-the-shelf training provided by other aviation companies for their crewmembers. It replaces the general, prescriptive training with a fleet performance-based program and evaluation designed around NetJets’ Operations and specific job requirements.
The training tests the pilots’ knowledge and their reactions to real-world flight scenarios, which are often based on information obtained from our Flight Operational Quality Assurance in-flight data recorders.
