Spring Break 2020

Make lasting memories during your travels

Whether traveling to an island for a warm getaway or extending the winter season at a mountainous destination, we want you to have an unforgettable experience. As your aviation experts, we are here to help you create the ultimate travel plan this spring. Please review the following recommendations to ensure your upcoming trip is as seamless as possible during this busy time of year. As always, your dedicated Owner Services Team is just a call away if you need assistance.

Expect the Unexpected

OPTIMAL TIMES TO FLY

Peak spring break travel begins Wednesday, February 26, and continues through Tuesday, March 31. The entire month of March will be busy, but we expect March 11–March 24 to have the highest demand of the five noted weeks.

The best days and times to fly during this period are as follows:

  • Before 10 a.m. Thursday through Monday
  • Any time on Tuesday and Wednesday

Relax and Recharge

Beach Destinations

Notify your Owner Services Team if you’re connecting to a boat or to a smaller charter aircraft. If delays occur, our crew can make sure any corresponding travel associates are informed.

Be open to alternative arrival and departure times. The busiest travel hours on the islands are typically from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for arrivals or departures. Flying outside these times can potentially minimize delays.

Attention Adventure Seekers

Mountain Destinations

Notify your Owner Services Team of luggage you’ll be carrying, such as skis or snowboards.

Allow extra time in your schedule. Severe weather and air traffic control delays can impact your drive time and cause airport delays, e.g., when the aircraft is de-iced.

The Ultimate Experience

Enjoying time with your Companions

We are eager to create an exceptional experience along your journey. For tiny travelers, we have custom-designed activity books on board, and offer kid-friendly menu items and snacks. Special requests to ensure your family is as comfortable as possible can be accommodated with 48 hours' notice.

Please note, NetJets strongly recommends abiding by the following guidelines from the Federal Aviation Administration:

  • Children 40 pounds or less should be secured in a Child Restraint System or another approved device. Your device meets safety regulations if it is labeled with the following statement: This restraint is certified for use in motor vehicles and aircraft.
  • Pets under 150 pounds may occupy a passenger seat; those more than 150 pounds must remain on the floor. During taxi, takeoff, and landing, it’s important to make sure your pet is secured in the cabin.

What About the Weather?
NetJets meterologists proactively review weather and air traffic control impacts. Your Owner Services Team will reach out to you 24 to 48 hours prior to your departure if a delay is expected.
Baggage Tips
Before you travel, please let your Owner Services Team know how much luggage you plan to bring. They will assist with baggage requirements and inform crewmembers to ensure it fits properly before takeoff.
