Bordeaux, France
A Legendary Wine Experience
Situated throughout the Bordeaux region of France are the world’s oldest and most prestigious wineries. Through our partnerships, NetJets creates unforgettable opportunities to visit the most prominent and exclusive vineyards—and at times, Owners receive bespoke access and personal introductions to some the world’s best winemakers.
CHÂTEAU CHEVAL BLANC
One of the most stunning wineries in the world, the historic Château Cheval Blanc can be found in Saint-Emilion, on the border of Pomerol. The winery boasts many different soil types found across the area—making their wine incredibly complex. Particularly the 1947 Château Cheval Blanc, which is revered as one of the most celebrated wines of all time. Archives show that vines have been grown at Cheval Blanc at least as far back as the 15th century, but today you’ll find state-of-the-art cellars that produce some of the world’s most collectable wine. CHÂTEAU D’YQUEM
Holding the only Premier Cru Supérieur classification, Château d’Yquem transcends other wineries in its class. Located in the Graves subregion of southern Bordeaux, this superb winery has generations of winemaking expertise and is famous for its unique climate that produces “noble rot.” The result is exemplary sweet wines that have been celebrated around the world for centuries—even by the likes of wine enthusiast Thomas Jefferson and many dignitaries across Europe and Asia. With proper care, wines from Château d’Yquem have incredible longevity. The fruity profile evolves over time, becoming more complex and accentuating the supporting flavors.
Tuscany, Italy
A Cultural Wine Experience
Wine is central to Tuscany’s cultural identity. Located in central Italy, this acclaimed region is an epicenter for not only wine but also epicurean delicacies to be savored amid a stunning landscape. There’s no better way to immerse yourself in Italian history and culture than with a visit to Tuscany.
CASTELLO DEL TERRICCIO
The modest size of the estate adds to its allure. Quintessentially Tuscan, olive groves, holly, and oak trees play host to roaming Limousine cattle and Italian saddle horses. The estate attracts visitors from around the globe who stay on-site at the exceptionally charming seven-bedroom Marrana villa.
On board all NetJets flights in Europe, we offer the Tassinaia blend of cabernet sauvignon and merlot. It is the perfect choice for your in-flight drink—an ideal drinking wine best enjoyed five minutes after opening
