Pet-Friendly Travel Options for your Furry Family Members

For many of our Owners, pets are simply part of the family. And that’s why we make every effort to ensure that pets are as comfortable as possible on every NetJets flight. We’ve welcomed dogs and cats—even pigs—on board Owner flights. In fact, NetJets flew more than 20,000 pet passengers in 2019. Here are a few tips and reminders for flying with pets.

Enjoying the Ride

Catering isn’t just for our Owners. Talk with your Owner Services Team and find out about dining options for pets. We can arrange a special treat or a Blue Buffalo meal for your pet—just let us know what you prefer.

Tidying Up

We realize that some of our Owners have serious allergies. We clean our planes thoroughly after every flight. So, when you step on board, the cabin is spotless.

Securing your pet

Federal Aviation Administration regulations indicate that pets under 150 pounds may occupy a passenger seat. Pets weighing over 150 pounds must remain on the floor. During taxi, takeoff, and landing, it’s important to make sure your pet is secured inside the cabin. There are three seating options: in a pet carrier, belted into a seat, or leashed while attached to a passenger seat belt (and out of the aisle).

Pet-Friendly Planes

While your pets are welcome aboard any NetJets aircraft, the private jets listed below are authorized to transport pets when all seats are occupied. On these aircraft, you can secure your pet (or, in some cases, multiple pets) in a designated area that does not impede access to emergency exits.
