NETJETS ACHIEVES FAA'S 2018 DIAMOND AWARD OF EXCELLENCE
CELEBRATING 17 YEARS OF LEADERSHIP IN AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE
We are proud to announce that NetJets has won the FAA Diamond Award of Excellence for the 17th consecutive year. This award signifies our unwavering commitment to flight safety and our dedication to offer the highest level of training for our aviation maintenance technicians (AMTs).
Developed in 1991 by the FAA, this award program encourages technicians and employers to invest in ongoing maintenance training. To achieve the Diamond award, an organization must conduct at least 12 hours of training each year and have at least 90% AMT participation across the organization. In 2017, NetJets achieved this for 267 AMTs at 100% technician participation. Out of these AMTs, 175 earned the Bronze award for a minimum of 12 hours of training, and 92 were awarded the Silver award for a minimum of 40 hours of training.
NetJets goes above and beyond to assure the highest level of maintenance competency.
NetJets Maintenance Training
The main pillars of our training program include:
- Aircraft Systems Training with the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to assure that we’re up to date on learnings and best practices
- Initial Avionics and Engine Training to take a deep-dive on the most critical components of an aircraft
- Troubleshooting Training to help proactively diagnosis unscheduled maintenance tasks and reduce aircraft downtime
