Partnering with (RED) for Global Impact
Contributions support COVID-19 relief and efforts to fight AIDS/HIV
The COVID-19 pandemic has shone light on grave needs across the world and amplified support efforts as global health has taken its place at the forefront in a manner never imagined.
Through our renewed partnership with (RED), an organization founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver, NetJets and Owners are helping to provide access to lifesaving medicine and treatments worldwide. Many of the world’s leading brands are part of this ongoing effort, and we are extremely proud to join them.
With each (NetJets)RED Card sale, we are investing $2,500 into the Global Fund—the recipient of all (RED) monies—to support not only the fight against AIDS and HIV but also their COVID-19 Response Fund. NetJets’ commitment to support both funds helps to ensure that people living with HIV can continue to access treatment and services amid the COVID-19 outbreak. Due to the success of (NetJets)RED Card sales, NetJets has already donated more than $500,000 to the Global Fund in 2020.
(RED) was founded in 2006, and Global Fund programs have impacted more than 180 million lives with prevention, testing, treatment, education, counseling, and care services. Aside from the newly created COVID fund, the money raised is used to work on the ground in sub-Saharan Africa, where nearly two-thirds of the total HIV-positive population, or 26 million people, are living.
