MULTI-TIERED CLEANING PROGRAM

THE NETJETS CLEAN

All aircraft interiors are treated with an antimicrobial bar­rier that bonds to surfaces providing lasting protection from various bacteria, germs, and viruses like COVID-19. Its durability comes from the molecular bond it forms with surfaces once cured; however, as a safeguard, NetJets reapplies the product every 90 days.

To prevent viral spread and ensure passengers board a pristine, mission-ready aircraft, surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each flight with a product that is EPA-registered for efficacy against the virus that causes COVID-19. Any NetJets aircraft that return from a region identified by the CDC as high risk are immediately quarantined and disinfected.
  • This year, we’re investing $12M in aircraft cleaning (that’s more than some private jet charter companies have in annual revenue).
  • NetJets cabin air is replaced with fresh, outside air every 2–4 minutes (most office buildings do this every 15–20 minutes).
  • We researched nearly 100 disinfecting products before selecting the best product to clean our aircraft interiors.

    Before every departure, we require mutual agreement between a licensed dispatcher and our pilots. This protocol exceeds standard practice and empowers our crew to provide an extra level of safety.

    Our FAA-approved meteorologists monitor weather conditions around the world, customizing flight paths and departure windows to ensure the safest, most comfortable routing. These are full-time, in-house staff who sit in our flight center and coordinate directly with our Owner Services and Operations teams.

THE HIGHEST STANDARD OF SAFETY TRAINING

NetJets redefines the industry standard in private aviation safety. Our crewmember training program is part of the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Advanced Qualification Program—which is revered as “the highest possible standard of individual and crew performance.” Learn more about our Advanced Qualification Program for pilot training.
 

BEYOND SOCIAL DISTANCING

MODIFIED CREW BEHAVIOR

Policy changes are managed and evaluated daily by our COVID-19 Joint Response Team. Some of these precautionary measures that directly affect our crewmembers include the following:
  • We have tested 100% of our crewmembers for COVID19 and continue to test anyone who travels to high-risk locations, has been exposed to COVID-19, or becomes symptomatic. We also offer antibody testing for all crewmembers
     
  • Crewmembers practice safe distancing and are required to wear face masks while interacting with Owners and other passengers. KN95 masks are provided for crewmembers to wear in settings when social distancing cannot be achieved
     
  • Aircraft are clustered at locations with a high volume of crewmembers, so exposure to commercial travel is drastically limited
  • Crewmembers are provided hand soaps and sanitizers, disinfecting wipes, and personal protective equipment for in-flight use
  • All crew travel is closely monitored; those exposed in any manner are prohibited from entering NetJets facilities and aircraft for 14 days until they are deemed recovered by a physician
